Welcome to the Bovenstede

Located in the heart of the Veluwe, in the village of Oldebroek. The ‘Bovenstede’ is situated in the front house of a historic farm from 1755, where the authentic atmosphere is combined with modern comfort.

Accommodation

Our accommodation is stylishly decorated with a modern kitchen equipped with coffee and tea facilities, an oven, a refrigerator with a freezer, and a dishwasher. The luxurious bathroom features a toilet and a rain shower. The spacious bedroom can easily be divided into two separate rooms thanks to pivot doors, making it ideal for both couples and families.

Surroundings

The accommodation is located next to the Farm Museum De Bovenstreek, where the wooden shoe path “Het Vreepad” also starts. The picturesque Hanseatic town of Elburg by the Veluwemeer, as well as the Hanseatic cities of Kampen, Hattem, and Zwolle, are in the nearby area. In addition, you can enjoy endless cycling routes, walk along the authentic wooden shoe paths, and experience the tranquility of the heath and surrounding forests.

Besides the many activities in the area, you can relax wonderfully on the terrace in the enclosed garden. Enjoy the soothing company of cows, horses, chickens, and our dogs Chica and Suus. This is the ideal place to unwind, read a book, and enjoy the serene rural atmosphere around our historic farm.

Booking and Check-in/Check-out

Select a suitable date for your stay. Check-in is possible from 3:00 PM and check-out is before 11:00 AM. Early or late check-in/check-out can be arranged upon request. Please inform us of your expected arrival time in advance.

Surroundings and Activities

Bicycle rental is available upon request. The location is near nature reserves and walking routes, with attractions within short distance. Advice and information about local activities can be provided.

Facilities

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, along with coffee and tea facilities, free parking, and a garden/terrace for relaxation. Cleaning is included.

For 2 persons we make 1 bed. If you also want to use the second bed (sofa bed), please let us know. There is a surcharge of €20 per stay for the extra make-up.
